India is on track to reach દ્ધિ 400 billion in exports this year


New Delhi: Union Minister Darshana Zardosh has said that India is poised to achieve an export target of 400 billion in the current financial year. India has exported 16 164 billion in the first five months alone.

Shyamal Mishra, joint secretary in the commerce department, said the government's 400 400 billion export target was ambitious, but India was on track to achieve it. This has led to a belief that the export target of 400 billion could be achieved this year. India's industry and exporters have done very well.

He said about 60 per cent of India's exports are engineering goods, diamonds and jewelery, pharmaceuticals, petroleum and chemicals. We need new products and new destinations for our exports. We urge our exporters to strengthen their partnership with MSMEs, with farmers, with fishermen and promote our start-ups, ”he added.

He said that Gujarat accounts for more than 20 per cent of India's total exports. By the end of the current financial year, when the epidemic is over and Gujarat has become conscious, the contribution of exports from Gujarat to the entire country is expected to exceed 8%. Exports of pharmaceuticals, diamonds and jewelery will be important.
