Debt-ridden Pakistan will sell 12 fighter jets to Argentina

Debt-ridden Pakistan is now going to sell fighter jets. According to media reports, Argentina is planning to buy 12 JF-17A Block-2 aircraft from Pakistan. According to a report by Pakistan's Geo TV, Argentina's official 203 budget has allocated ૬૬ 25 million for the purchase of 12 PAC JF-17A Block 3 fighter jets from Pakistan.

According to media reports, the budget has been presented to the Argentine parliament. However this does not mean that the agreement has been finalized as Argentina has not yet signed the sales agreement. However, it wants to buy fighter jets from Pakistan.

Argentina has made efforts to buy jets from some other countries in the world in the last few years. However this was not possible due to lack of money or opposition from Britain.

Last year, Britain banned the sale of Argentine South Korean fighter jets. According to the British Defense Journal, the JF-17 Thunder is a single-engine fighter jet used by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and Chengdu Aircraft Corporation of China for a number of roles.

According to the manufacturers, the JF-17 can be used for interceptions, ground attacks, anti-ship operations. According to the report, more than 70 per cent of the JAP-17 airframe includes its front fuselage, wings and vertical stabilizer. It is manufactured in Pakistan. While China produces 4%.
