Bihar's ruling Janata Dal United (JDU) MLA Gopal Mandal, who has always been in the limelight over his actions, is now embroiled in a new controversy. This time Gopal Mandal made such a move on his way from Patna to Delhi that the season was horrifying. People traveling with him objected to it, so he got into a fight and is accused of threatening to shoot.

It is learned that Gopal Mandal, who was traveling on the Patna-Delhi Tejas train, was accused of using abusive language and threatening to shoot a fellow passenger who refused to move in the bogie of the train while wearing underwear. Fellow passenger Prahlad Paswan alleged that the MLA was walking in the train wearing underwear and he was unaware that he was an MLA till he protested against it.

Threatened to shoot

After the protest, Gopal Mandal was very angry and beat up Sahyatri by giving him a mother-sister period. Not only that, according to the allegation leveled by Prahlad, Gopal Mandal also threatened to shoot him so he lodged a complaint with the RPF. His coach was replaced after the complaint. Gopal Mandal was called on the issue but could not be reached. Prahlad, who was traveling in the railways, expressed displeasure over the use of insults by the MLA and said he would lodge a police complaint.

"Gopal Mandal is a diabetic and is going to Delhi on an urgent basis as his diabetes has increased," said Krunal Singh, a friend of the MLA. Further said, the legislator is also overweight so he cannot go to the washroom in full clothes. They go to the washroom in lungi-gamcha. He had to go to the washroom as soon as he got on the train today and in a hurry he kept going in his underwear which was badly talked about by a passenger. The MLA did not say anything at the time but came and talked and nothing happened the way the allegations are being made but a little anger can come to anyone.
