Ahmedabad: Governor Acharya Devvart administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhupendra Patel as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. However, before taking oath, Bhupendra paid a courtesy call on former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel at his residence. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was present at the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister.

Early in the morning before being sworn in as the Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel reached Chharodi Srithat Gurukul. Where he received the blessings of the saints. He also reached the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel. Where he paid a courtesy visit. After the visit, Bhupendra Patel met Vijay Rupani at the CM House in Gandhinagar.

Bhupendra Patel was sworn in as Chief Minister in Gujarati at a swearing-in ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan complex at 2.30 pm. The function was attended by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Khattar and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

Besides, Union Ministers Purshotam Rupala, Mansukh Mandvia, Darshana Jardosh, Mahendra Munjpara were also present at the swearing-in ceremony. For the first time, in addition to BJP central inspector Praful Joshi, BJP national general secretary B. Setosh was given the stage at the swearing-in ceremony.

In states including Karnataka, the BJP high command has changed leadership and changed the chief minister and formed a new cabinet in which B. Santosh has played an important role.
