Attack on Taliban for second day in a row in Afghanistan: Two killed

Kabul, Ta. 13

With the return of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan, the situation in the country has begun to deteriorate. Jalalabad in Nangarhar province is becoming a hub for terrorist activities. For the second day in a row, two people were killed in an attack targeting the Taliban in Jalalabad. A bomb had exploded at a bus station in Jalalabad on Sunday. The Taliban, meanwhile, enforced orders from the 1990s and ordered female workers in Kabul to stay at home.

A bomb blast targeting the Taliban at a bus station in the city of Jalalabad in Nangarhar province on Sunday killed two civilians, Sputnik reports. According to eyewitnesses, a Taliban fighter was also injured in the blast. Sources claim that IS is carrying out terrorist attacks on the Taliban. However, no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

On the other hand, with the Taliban coming to power, the country's economic situation has deteriorated. Filippo Grandi, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Pakistan, said the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan was deteriorating. The international community should come forward to help immediately. The World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with Qatar, has also sent 4.5 metric tons of medicine to Afghanistan. It mostly includes life-saving drugs. On the other hand, in Kabul and other parts of Afghanistan, the incoming crude companies of the Taliban government have started arbitrarily. These companies are charging more than the fixed price.

Meanwhile, what the international community has been fearing is coming true. The Taliban have begun enforcing their orders in the 1990s in Afghanistan. The interim mayor of Kabul, Hamdullah Namoni, on Sunday ordered the city's working women to stay in their homes.

He said women would be allowed to do work that men could not do, in which women would be allowed to work as employees in public facilities. The Kabul municipality employs more than 4,000 people, a third of whom are women. Now these women have been fired. However, no decision has been taken on his salary at present.

Nomani's order shows that the Taliban have started imposing sanctions on women. During the 1990s, the Taliban barred girls and women from going to school and work.
