After two months, diesel prices have gone up by પૈસા 50 paise

Today, the price of a liter of petrol was hiked by 50 paise in the country on the back of rising international crude prices. Diesel prices have been hiked for the first time in the last two months. International crude oil prices have reached post-2014 highs.

At the same time, the price of a liter of diesel in Delhi has gone up to Rs 7.5 per liter, while in Mumbai, the price of a liter of diesel has gone up to Rs 2.91, according to a price notification issued by state-owned oil marketing companies.

However, no change has been made in petrol prices. The price of a liter of petrol has gone up to Rs 101.15 in Delhi and Rs 103.5 in Mumbai. State-owned oil marketing companies Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have not changed their prices since September 5, despite rising crude prices in the international market.

International crude oil prices rose to ૫ 2.50 a barrel today. International crude oil prices have risen by five to seven dollars since September 5. International crude prices fell by more than three dollars in August. This was preceded by a reduction in petrol and diesel prices on September 5.

It may be mentioned here that between May 4 and July 15, petrol price was hiked by Rs 11.5 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.15 per liter.
