Till now, the outbreak of viral fever was seen in Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh but now it has reached Mathura as well. It is learned that 10 people have so far lost their lives due to viral fever in a village in Mathura.

The minister of Koh village in Mathura has confirmed that 10 people have died due to fever. A child from Koh village, who was admitted to a private hospital in Agra on Tuesday, succumbed to his injuries and the death toll rose to 10. The village minister said Bhura's 14-year-old son died at Agra on Tuesday.

Confirming the death of the 14-year-old boy, CMO Rachna Gupta said Saurabh had gone to his relative's house in Barsana on August 20 and was admitted to a hospital in Agra after his health deteriorated there. He died at the hospital on August 31.

The administration has also started preparations after the outbreak of viral fever in Koh village. A 4-bed temporary hospital with OPD facilities will be built in Koh village, officials said. CMO Rachna Gupta will also visit the village on Wednesday to take stock of the situation.
