30,773 new cases of corona in India, another 309 deaths

New Delhi: 30,773 new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 3,34,48,163.

The national recovery rate has reached 97.68 per cent, according to figures released by the Union Health Ministry. However, the death toll from the corona has risen to 4,44,838 so far, with 309 more people dying from the corona in the last 24 hours.

The number of active cases has come down to 3,32,158. Which accounts for 0.99 per cent of the total cases. The number of active cases has decreased by 8481 cases in the last 24 hours. A total of 15,59,895 tests were conducted in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the total number of corona tests in the country has increased to 55,23,40,168 so far.

The daily positive rate has been 1.97 percent. Which has been below three per cent for the last 20 days. While the weekly positive rate has been 2.04 percent. Which has been below three per cent for the last 86 days. Corona has killed 309 people in the last 24 hours. Out of which 143 deaths have occurred in Kerala and 80 deaths in Maharashtra.

So far, a total of 4,44,838 people have died due to corona in the country. In the last 24 hours, 37.27 lakh people in the country were vaccinated. Meanwhile, foreign tourists are likely to be allowed to travel to India soon as corona cases are declining in the country. The first five lakh foreign tourists will be given free visas.
