New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 29,616 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India. At the same time, the total number of cases has increased to 3,36,24,419. On the other hand, the number of active cases has increased by 1280 and the figure has crossed three lakh. The death toll rose to 4,46,658 with 290 deaths in 24 hours.

The number of active cases in the country has now reached 0.90 per cent. At the national level, the recovery rate stood at 97.78 per cent, the highest since March 2020. The number of active cases increased by 1280 in 24 hours. Parents and students have demanded the reopening of schools for the resumption of standard 6-8 classes.
