A total of 19 people were killed and six others were seriously injured in two separate accidents in Rajasthan and Bangalore. An SUV collided head-on with a work and truck at Nagaur in Rajasthan on Tuesday.
A total of seven people, including the son of a Tamil Nadu DMK MLA, were killed when another SUV rammed into a wall in Bangalore. .
All the 12 people killed were residents of Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh and the accident took place when they were returning to their homeland after visiting the temples of Ramdevra and Karnimata. The accident was so tragic that eight people died on the spot while the remaining four died before going to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a luxury SUV collided with a wall at Koramangala in Bangalore on Tuesday, killing seven people, including the son of a Tamil Nadu DMK MLA, Bangalore East Division Deputy Commissioner of Police Shantharaju told PTI.
