Vaccine recipients at increased risk after coronary heart disease infection, claim US study

The corona virus vaccine is helping people boost immunity. The study claims that people who are not vaccinated after recovering from corona have a double risk of re-infection.

In a report called the Center for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday, scientists have appealed to people to take a dose of the vaccine as the risk of a rapidly spreading delta variant is increasing. This puts people who have previously been infected with the corona at risk. The report said the lab found evidence that the vaccine was boosting people's natural immunity and protecting against newer variants of the virus.

CDC Director Rochelle Walenski said that if you have been infected with corona before, be sure to get the vaccine. Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and those around you, and this is especially important because the delta variant of the corona virus is spreading rapidly in the country.

There is still little information about the re-infection that will occur before the new variant, but US health officials have speculated from UK figures that the Delta variant is at increased risk of re-infection. If you have been infected with the corona in six months, you are at a higher risk of being infected with this second variant than the alpha variant.

The infectious disease specialist said there was no doubt that the vaccine was helping people infected with coronary heart disease to strengthen immunity. Not only can you get vaccinated against the virus but you can also get protection against this variant.
