Twitter India chief Manish Maheshwari leaves India

Will take on a new role in America

Maheshwari has been in controversy for some time

New Delhi: Twitter India head Manish Maheshwari has left India. He will now handle operations in the US for a microblogging site. Maheshwari was the managing director of Twitter India for two years. He joined Twitter India in 2019.

Manish Maheshwari left Network India in April 2019 and joined Twitter India. Now he will work for the company in America. His position there will be that of Senior Director in Revenue Strategy and Operations.

U Sane, Twitter's JPAC vice president, has welcomed Maheshwari in a new role on Twitter. "Thank you for taking over the leadership of Twitter India for over two years," he tweeted.

Maheshwari will now handle Revenue Strategy in the US and Head of Market Operations around the world. It may be mentioned that Maheshwari has been in controversy for some time now. He wrote on Twitter that he is the managing director of Twitter India, but in reality he supports Twitter America.

He had earlier written Managing Director India on his Twitter handle, but now he has changed his Twitter bio. He wrote Business at Twitter India on Twitter. He also wrote in his bio that he is not in charge of content, as Content manages Twitter Inc. Twitter Inc. means Twitter America. In his bio, he has given the e-mail ID of grievance redressal officer Vinay Prakash.
