There was a time when the atmosphere in Srinagar's Lal Chowk was tense due to the hoisting of the tricolor.
After the repeal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the government is trying to change the atmosphere in the state and especially in Kashmir, as part of which a tricolor has been lit at Lal Chowk. In which BJP national president Murli Manohar Joshi and Narendra Modi went to Lal Chowk at that time and waved the tricolor.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Srinagar has shared a picture of the clock tower of Lal Chowk bathing in the lights of the tricolor and has written that this picture is of the tower of Lal Chowk before Independence Day, where the tricolor has been lit.
