Taliban militants are currently preparing to seize the Afghan capital, Kabul. The Taliban have taken control of all the highways leading to Kabul. The Taliban have also taken control of the area from which Kabul is getting electricity. So now Kabul could fall into the hands of the Taliban at any time.

On the other hand, there are reports that the Mi-24 helicopter that India gifted to Afghanistan in 2019 has been seized by Taliban militants. The Taliban have taken control of the Kunduz army base. It was at this point that the army kept an MI-24 attack helicopter which was captured by the Taliban.

The helicopter was abandoned by the army as it was not fit to fly. Although the army had removed the helicopter's engine, the terrorists could not use it. The Taliban currently control nine provinces in Afghanistan, while 11 provinces are where both the military and terrorists face off and fierce fighting is raging.

UNICEF says the Taliban have killed 27 children in Kandahar, Khost and Paktia. Thus, the civilians are now looking for a safe haven out of fear of the Taliban.
