Reserves should continue until there is equality in society: Hosable

(PTI) New delhi date. 10

Emphasizing that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is a strong supporter of reservation in the country, Dattatreya Hosballe, a co-worker of the RSS, said on Tuesday that the reservation system should continue till "inequality" in society is eliminated.

The history of India is incomplete without the history of Dalits. They should benefit the most on the front of social change. Launching a book titled 'Makers of Modern Dalit History', he said that the history of India is no different from the history of Dalits. The history of India is incomplete without their history. Speaking about the reservation, Hosbale made it clear that he and his organization, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, fully support the reservation.

He added that social harmony and social justice are not political strategies for us. Both are matters of faith for us. Describing the reserve as a historical necessity for India, Hosble said the system should continue as long as a section of society experiences inequality. Describing the reserve as a tool for "positive action", Hosbale said reserves and coordination should go hand in hand. He added that it was inappropriate to call the personalities who led the social change in the society 'Dalit leaders' as they were leading the whole society.
