Prashant Kishor resigns as Amarinder's adviser

The price of the captain's defeat with Sidhu had to be paid

New Delhi: Prashant Kishor has resigned as an adviser to Punjab Congress chief minister Capt Amarinder. He has given an official reason behind it that he wants a break. Yet the real reason is supposed to be different.

According to insiders, Captain Amarinder had to bear the brunt of Navjot Singh Sidhu following the advice of Prashant Kishor. Prashant Kishore could not give proper advice to Captain Amarinder against Navjot Singh Sidhu. This resignation is considered its price. The feud between Sidhu and Amarinder in the Punjab Congress lasted a long time.

At one time it was also believed that Captain Amarinder Sidhu would not be subdued. But Prashant Kishor could not suggest proper policy to the captain in this matter and he had to confess against Sidhu. "I want a break in public life and active politics," Prashant Kishor said. Because of this I can't handle the responsibility of Captain's Minister Adviser.

I have yet to decide what to do in the future. Because of this I want to be relieved of this position. Thank you for your appointment. It may be mentioned that Prashant Kishor was appointed as an advisor to Captain Amarinder in March. Punjab is going to hold assembly elections next year and at the same time Prashant Kishor has resigned from the post of captain's advisor.

Prashant Kishor had suddenly become active a few days ago. He also called on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. This was followed by a meeting of the Congress, which mentioned the meeting between Rahul and PK. Apart from this, the possibility of Prashant Kishor joining the Congress was also discussed.
