PM Kisan Yojana: Rs. 12,500 crore transfer

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given Rs. The installment of Rs 5,000 was transferred to more than 2.5 crore beneficiary farming families. With this, Prime Minister Modi deposited a total of Rs. More than Rs 12,500 crore was transferred. The amount was transferred directly to the beneficiaries' accounts through a single click in a program organized through video conferencing. The Prime Minister also launched an edible oil mission on Monday.

Prime Minister Modi said that today more than Rs 15,500 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of 2.5 crore beneficiary farmers. This amount will take a lot of work for small farmers. August 15 is coming. We are going to celebrate the 7th year of independence. In the next three years, we will have to decide where to take the country. Inaugurating the National Edible Oil Mission, Prime Minister Modi said that it was necessary to increase the production of edible oil. We have to work in this direction to make the country self-reliant.


The National Edible Oil Mission has been resolved today. Rs. More than Rs 11,000 crore will be spent. Palm oil cultivation will be expanded. Chief Ministers of several states including Union Agriculture Minister Narendrasinh Tomar, Ministers of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary, Shobha Karandlaj and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the Government of India is making continuous efforts to double the income of farmers. He said that PM Kisan Yojana has been successful and meaningful in this direction. The scheme was introduced by the central government in the February 2016 budget. The first installment under this scheme was given for the period from December 2016 to March 2018.

Beneficiary farmer families under PM Kisan Yojana will get Rs. 3,000 financial benefit is given and this annual benefit is Rs. 3,000 is given every three months in three installments. The amount under this scheme is directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary. The Prime Minister's Office said that under the scheme, a total of over Rs 1.5 lakh crore has so far been transferred to the bank accounts of farming families.

Addressing the virtual program, Prime Minister Modi said that under the PM Kisan Yojana, about Rs. 1.5 lakh crore has been transferred, out of which Rs. 1 lakh crore has been given to small and marginal farmers during the Corona period. This amount will be very useful to small farmers when it is time to plant kharif crops in the current monsoon season. Expressing the government's commitment to provide all the resources to increase the income of farmers, Prime Minister Modi said that Rs. He provided details of several schemes, including the Rs 1 lakh crore Agriculture Infra Fund, which are benefiting farmers. Modi said that farmers are also benefiting from the Honey Bee Mission. Extra income of farmers has also increased due to widespread export of honey. He added that saffron produced in Jammu and Kashmir would be sold through retail stores of state-owned company NAFED.
