Leave the worries of Afghanistan, take care of the situation in India: Owaisi

New Delhi, 20 August 2021 Friday

Amid reports of a deteriorating situation in Afghanistan, AIMIA chairman Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at the central government, saying the Indian government was particularly concerned about Afghan women, but was silent on the situation of Indian women.

One in nine girls under the age of five in India dies, Owaisi said at a party function late on Thursday night. Crimes, including rape, are on the rise here, but the country's government is particularly concerned about women trapped in Afghanistan.

Owaisi said Pakistan had benefited the most from the Taliban's occupation of Afghanistan. The terrorist organization Al Qaeda has reactivated in some parts of Afghanistan. ISI is already India's enemy. It is the ISI that controls the Taliban. The Taliban are his puppets.

Owaisi, an MP from Hyderabad, had earlier attacked the Modi government. He said in a tweet two days ago that the US was determined to withdraw from Afghan soil.

In early 2014, I advised the Modi government to hold talks with the Taliban so that Indian interests in Afghanistan are safeguarded. India has invested ત્રણ 3 billion in Afghanistan, but the central government has not responded.

Shire Munawwar Rana, in support of the Taliban, has said that the Taliban have liberated their country from the clutches of the US-led government in Afghanistan.
