Clashes broke out between the army and militants in the Pampore area of ​​Avantipora in Jammu and Kashmir today. The army killed two militants in the clash. Jammu and Kashmir police have informed that the army has cordoned off the entire area and now the search operation is on.

Terrorists fired on the army

Police said who the dead terrorists were and what terrorist group they belonged to. This information has not come to light yet. "We have received information that some militants are hiding in the Pampore area," police officials said.

Terrorists killing leaders in the valley

Terrorists shot dead their party leader Ghulam Hasan Lone in Kulgam yesterday. Lone resigned from the PDP four months ago to join his party. This is the third such incident in about 15 days.

On August 17, BJP leader Javed Ahmed Dar was shot dead by militants in the Brajlu Jagir area of ​​Kulgam. Earlier, on August 9, militants killed Ghulam Rasool Dar, chairman of the BJP's farmers' district unit in Kulgam.
