Hezbollah fires 12 rockets at Israeli bases

Israel strikes Hezbollah camp in Lebanon Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist group, has since fired 15 rockets at Israeli military bases. The rocket attack has rekindled tensions on the Lebanese-Israeli border.
The militant group Hezbollah fired 16 rockets at an Israeli military base on the Lebanese border. Hezbollah said the rockets were fired in response to Israeli air strikes. The Israeli military also acknowledged that 15 rockets had been fired at military bases, but that the Iron Dome defense system had destroyed the rocket and caused no casualties.
UN peacekeepers are deployed along the Lebanese-Israeli border. The peacekeepers acknowledged that Hezbollah had fired rockets after Israel's airstrikes. There were reports of fires in open areas of northern Israel due to the rocket attack. Israel is claiming to have bombed again after the rocket attack. The peacekeepers said the situation was getting tense again due to attacks on both sides. The U.N. appealed for a ceasefire on both sides.
The Israeli defense minister said that Israel is ready to respond to all kinds of attacks by Iran. Israel has blamed Iran for a drone strike on an Israeli ship off the coast of Oman. Iran denied it. Tensions between the two countries in the Gulf have affected the Lebanon-Israel border.
