Mumbai, 11 August 2021 Wednesday

The state government has started giving more concessions in lockdowns after the decline in corona patients and improvement in the condition in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government on Wednesday announced that hotels and restaurants across the state will now be open till 10 pm. So far they were allowed to remain open until 4 p.m.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said shopping malls in the state would now be open till 10 pm, but full vaccination of those visiting would be required. Visitors to the mall must show their vaccination certificates before entering. When asked when the third wave lockdown will take place?

Minister Tope said a complete lockdown would be imposed when the daily oxygen requirement increased to 700 tonnes. He said other states would also need oxygen. It is not yet clear whether we will get what we want from the Center.
