Amid fears of a third wave in the country, 200 children are positive in Bengaluru

The care of the Corona epidemic in the country is not yet completely over. While the second wave of Corona is not over, the third wave has started hitting. While partial sanctions are being eased in several states of the country, the rise in new cases in some states, including Kerala, has raised concerns among governments. Now that schools have started in many states, the risk of corona on children has increased. In Bengaluru, more than 200 children have been hit by the corona in six days, including 16 children up to nine years of age and 16 children between the ages of 10 and 15. Approximately 4 students in Himachal and 3 children in Punjab have tested positive for corona.

The health ministry said that 21,17 new cases of corona were reported in India on Thursday, with another 20 deaths. With this, the total cases of Corona have reached close to 2.81 crore while the active cases have crossed 4.5 lakh. The total death toll has risen to 6.5 lakh.

Corona's active case has dropped for the fifth day in a row in the country. In the last 3 hours, 1,3 active cases of corona have been reported. The corona's recovery rate in the country is 7.5 percent. The daily positivity rate is 1.6 per cent. The positivity rate has been below 3% for the last 15 days. The weekly positivity rate is 4.5 percent. So far, a total of more than 2.16 crore patients have been cured in the country, while corona has a mortality rate of 1.5 per cent. The country has so far received 4.5 crore doses of anti-corona vaccine under the National Vaccination Campaign.

Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandvia on Thursday called on WHO Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya visited Swaminathan and discussed the approval of the Global Health Unit for Cova vaccine covexin by Bharat Biotech.

Meanwhile, for the second day in a row, no one was killed by corona in Delhi and nine new cases were reported. The current corona transition rate in the capital Delhi is 0.04 per cent. The number of active cases of corona in Delhi is 203 while 18 patients are in isolation.
