Two LeT terrorists killed in Shopia, Jammu and Kashmir

The security forces have had great success over the last few months

Srinagar: Two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants have been killed in Shopia district of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces launched a search operation in the area, during which two militants were killed in a clash with militants. A search operation was conducted to find out whether more thugs were hiding in the area.

One of the two terrorists killed was Ishfaq Dar alias Abu Akram, a self-styled commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba. Two AK-47 rifles and eight magazines were seized from the slain terrorists.

Security forces had earlier on July 10 killed three militants, including a Lashkar-e-Toiba commander, in Kashmir's Anantnag district. In the last few months, the Jammu and Kashmir police and paramilitary forces have had great success against active militants in the valley.
