Twelve people sitting at Muzaffarpur gate were crushed by truck, killing five including four children

At around 9 pm on Thursday in Sahadani village of Saraiya police station in Muzaffarpur, an uncontrollable truck crushed people sitting outside a house next to NH 722 and finally the uncontrolled truck collided with an electricity pole. Four children from two families were killed and seven others were seriously injured in the accident. The middle-aged man died on the way to treatment. All have been sent by private vehicle to SKMCH for better treatment.

The district administration has alerted SKMCL as soon as the information was received. Police from Saraiya police station, on the other hand, reached the spot and took possession of the bodies of five people, including four children, and initiated further legal action. Efforts are also being made to remove the truck. The truck driver has no address. According to locals, a stranger among the injured may have been a truck driver.

It is also being said that the truck driver was intoxicated, and he was driving the truck haphazardly before the scene. The truck was going from Saraiya to Rewa Ghat roof. On the other hand, after the accident, angry people pelted stones at several vehicles passing through the NH, causing damage to many vehicles. Police have reached the spot and are camping after receiving information about the accident. There is tension in Sahadani village. More police forces are being called in to deal with the crisis.
