New Delhi: On the one hand, there is a border dispute between India and China, while on the other hand, trade between the two countries is on the rise. India's trade with China, which is evading the border, has been increasing every year. China's trade with India increased by 62.7 per cent from January to June.

China's trade with India is the highest compared to its other partner countries. According to figures released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC), China's total import-export trade with India reached 57 57.48 billion in the first six months of this year.

During the Koro epidemic, India imported large quantities of medical supplies from China. This has led to an increase in trade with China.

This information was revealed by Zhao Guncheng, a researcher at the Shanghai Institute for International Studies. Indian troops clashed with Chinese troops in the Galvan Valley, prompting a nationwide demand for a boycott of Chinese goods. On the contrary, trade with China is on the rise.

According to figures released by the Ministry of External Affairs, China delivered 26,000 ventilators, oxygen generators, 15,000 monitors, 3,800 tonnes of medical supplies and medicines to India in April. However, trade with China rose by 71 per cent from January to May, compared to 62.7 per cent in June.
