Jammu and Kashmir: Two militants were killed in a clash at Pulwama

Two militants were killed in a late night clash between militants and security forces at Pulwama in south Kashmir. However, a search operation is underway by the security forces.

Six militants were also killed in the clashes last week. A total of 6 militants, including 2 Pakistani militants, were shot dead by the army at Sundarbans. The army foiled an infiltration attempt in the Sundarbans sector of Rajouri district near LOC, killing 2 Pakistani militants. Two jawans, including a deputy subedar, were also killed in the clash while another jawan was injured.

On June 29, a search operation was conducted in the entire area to find the suspects in Dadal village in the Sundarbans sector. The suspected Pakistani militants were hiding in a cave in the forests of Dadal. When the army reached him, he threw a grenade and started firing. The army then retaliated. Large quantities of ammunition, including 2 AK-47 rifles, were recovered from the two militants killed in the clash.
