New Delhi: There was a huge commotion on the Ghazipur border in Delhi between farmers and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists as well as leaders. Both the farmers and the workers were confronted with this and were beaten up. BJP workers first came to the Ghazipur border, where farmers have been protesting against the agricultural law for seven months. After which the two came into conflict with the farmers present there.

There are reports that a large number of BJP workers arrived at the Ghazipur border to welcome a BJP leader, at which point a scuffle broke out with the farmers, which later turned into a scuffle. Sticks are also seen in the hands of some. Farmers had their own peasant flags while BJP workers had their own flags.

Meanwhile, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait alleged that BJP leaders wanted to use our platform, some leaders even came on stage. If you want to come to our stage, resign from BJP first. The allegations against us that we took over the BJP platform are false. The stage was ours and BJP workers and leaders wanted to occupy our stage. Police were present at the spot but did not take any action. If Manch is so dear, join our movement and say goodbye to the party.

The Indian Farmers' Union (IFU) has alleged that BJP workers today gathered in large numbers near the stage between the flyovers at the Ghazipur border and started playing drums to provoke a peasant movement. They wanted to influence the movement under the pretext of welcoming the leader. The BJP now wants to break the peasant movement with violence. The BJP has alleged that protesters sitting on the dharna attacked the convoy of BJP state minister Amit Valmiki.
