A Delhi court has slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on Delhi Police. The court has slapped a fine on the Delhi Police for not performing their duty properly during the 2020 violence in Delhi. This means that he has been hit hard for failing to perform his duty properly during the Delhi Police violence.

Violence erupted in Delhi in February last year. Mohammad Nasir, meanwhile, was shot in the eye. He went to the police to lodge an FIR. But the Delhi Police had linked his complaint to another FIR.

The court said in its order that after reviewing the entire case, it appears that the police are rescuing the accused. The court said the attitude of the police has been negligent.

It may be mentioned that Mohammad Nasir was shot in the eye on February 8, 2020 during the Delhi riots. Mohammad Nasir had lodged a complaint on March 17, 2020 against six people living in his neighborhood, Naresh Tyagi, Subhash Tyagi, Uttam Tyagi, Sushil and Naresh Gauir, for firing. Nasir alleged that the Delhi Police had attached another FIR to the complaint. Nasir had lodged a complaint in the Kadakkuma court without filing a complaint. Police went to sessions court against the order. The sessions court began hearing the entire case.
