Delhi: Most wanted gangster Kala Jathedi arrested from Saharanpur

The Special Cell of Delhi Police has achieved great success. The Special Cell has arrested the country's most wanted gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi from Saharanpur, UP. The accused made an unsuccessful attempt to escape from police custody. Gangster Jathedi has a reward of Rs 7 lakh. Several cases of gangster have been registered in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab.

Jathedi's gang includes more than 200 shooters. Most of his shooters live abroad and the shooter runs this gang sitting abroad. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has imposed MCOCA on Kala Jathedi. He has been ruling the world of crime for over a decade.

Special Cell DCP Manishi Chandra said that the Special Cell team had been behind Kala Jathedi for a long time. Meanwhile, the team, with the help of technical surveillance, arrested Kala Jathedi from Saharanpur on Friday. The accused tried to escape from the police but the team apprehended him on the spot with a pistol. Kala Jathedi came to be known as a synonym of terror and is currently being interrogated by a special cell team.

Gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi, a resident of Jathedi village in Sonipat Rai, is most wanted in five states, including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, Delhi Police officials said. Kala has studied up to 12th standard and was the first cable operator. He committed his first murder during a robbery at Sampla in Rohtak in June 2009 and the list of his deeds has been growing ever since. Lawrence used to work for the Bishnoi gang but now runs his own gang. His gang is known as Kala Jathedi and Lawrence Vishrai.

It is learned that Kala fled to Thailand via Nepal. According to police, Kala Jathedi's gang is currently the largest in the NCR. The gang is accused of carrying out dozens of cases of murder, attempted murder, extortion, robbery and theft. Police in various states have announced a reward of Rs 7 lakh for Kala's arrest.

Kala Jathedi's name came up on June 4 when Olympian Sushil Kumar killed junior wrestler Sagar Dhankhad. Police investigation revealed that Sushil Kumar had an affair with Kala. He also went to his village at his younger brother’s wedding.
