Attack on UN headquarters in Afghanistan, killing of a guard

Violence continues in Afghanistan. The Taliban has caused an uproar throughout Afghanistan. The United Nations headquarters in Afghanistan was recently attacked. One guard was killed in the attack. However, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan did not name the Taliban and called the attackers anti-government elements.

According to the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), anti-government elements attacked the UN headquarters in Herat, Afghanistan. One Afghan police guard was killed and another was injured.

The situation worsened

Taliban fighters have taken up positions in 20 provinces of Afghanistan. The situation in Kandahar has deteriorated to such an extent that thousands of people are feeling trapped in the city. While many people have moved to safer places. Taliban militants have been pushing for an AD-peak to enter the city but have not yet succeeded. Because of this he has occupied the surrounding districts.

We are not Taliban spokesmen: Imran

Pakistan, which is seeking a political settlement with the Taliban, has questioned the US's intention to invade Afghanistan in 2001. According to Prime Minister Imran Khan, the US has disrupted everything in Afghanistan.

Imran Khan further said that the Pak government was not a spokesman for the Taliban and could not be held responsible for the insurgent group's operations in Afghanistan. "We have nothing to do with what the Taliban is doing or not doing," Khan said. We are neither responsible nor a spokesman for the Taliban.
