After a one-day break, petrol prices rose again


Petrol hike by 28 paise, diesel by 16 paise

In Mumbai, the price of a liter of petrol has gone up to Rs. 107.20, while the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs. 101.19

New Delhi: Petrol prices have been hiked once again in the country after a one-day hiatus. While today the price of diesel was reduced. Petrol price was hiked by 28 paise today. While the price of a liter of diesel was reduced by 16 paise.

After today's change in price, the price of a liter of petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 101.19. While the price of a liter of diesel has come down to Rs 89.72. In Mumbai, the price of a liter of petrol has gone up to Rs 107.20 and a liter of diesel to Rs 97.20. Gasoline prices have been hiked for the seventh time this month.

Diesel prices have been reduced for the first time since rising four times earlier in July. Earlier in June, petrol and diesel prices were hiked 16 times. At the same time, petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 in 17 states.

These 17 states include Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Ladakh, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Kerala, Punjab, Sikkim, Puducherry, Delhi and West Bengal.
