New Delhi: Rains lashed several states in northern India. As a result, 20 people were killed. The deaths were reported in lightning strikes in Rajasthan and some parts of Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, the monsoon has not yet started in Delhi. While it is raining in many states of North India.

Fifteen others, including six children and a woman, were injured and taken to hospital for treatment. Lightning strikes have been reported in several states in northern India.

Orange alert has been issued by the meteorological department in five districts in Kerala. And fishermen have been advised not to go fishing in the sea. Heat was relieved following rains in several states in northern India.

On the other hand, according to the meteorological department, some northern Indian states are likely to receive rains till July 14. Delhi still receives very normal rainfall. Delhi received only 8.5 mm of rainfall from June 1 instead of 125 mm.
