150 crore land vacated in Rohingya camp in Delhi

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh is campaigning against illegal occupation of government land not only in the region but also elsewhere. Now the government has run a bulldozer on a Rohingya camp in the neighboring state of Delhi to raise Rs. 150 crore land has been vacated.

The Yogi Adityanath government on Thursday demolished a Rohingya camp built on 2.10 hectares of land belonging to the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department at Madanpur Khadar in Delhi. The cost of this land is approximately Rs. 150 crore. The RW had requested the Delhi Police to remove the illegal population of Rohingya Muslims. But no action was taken. Therefore, the Yogi government has taken action against the Rohingya Muslims living illegally in front of Madanpur Khadar crematorium ghat in Delhi at 9.00 am and vacated the land of the irrigation department.

Rohingya Muslims had long illegally settled in front of the Madanpur Khadar crematorium in Delhi. All government facilities were also being provided here by the Delhi government. Ration materials from the Delhi government and Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan were also provided at the camp during the lockdown. Earlier, the Center had also told the Supreme Court that Rohingya Muslims were a threat to India's security and the government wanted to deport them.
