New Delhi: Amid government claims that the vaccination mission is in full swing, there is a shortage of vaccines across the country. People claimed that many vaccination centers were closed due to lack of vaccines.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said the shortage of vaccines has forced most of the centers to close. He urged the central government to provide adequate quantities of the vaccine.

Even in Delhi, there were long lines for vaccines at many centers, but the vaccines were not available. There was a shortage of vaccines in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. There was also sarcasm on social media about the vaccine missing despite the Prime Minister's constituency. Even in Padrona, UP, there was no vaccination.

Apart from that, vaccination centers in Gorakhpur were also closed due to shortage of vaccines. People flocked to vaccination centers in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, but returned home after a long line due to lack of vaccines. In Ratlam, there was a push for vaccine in many centers. Vaccination campaigns in Bhojpur and Jamui in Bihar came to a standstill.

Officials told the people that the vaccination would not take place for two more days. The vaccination mission in Tamil Nadu took a break. In Chennai, Coimbatore, people rioted at the vaccine center as they could not get the vaccine. A similar situation was created in other districts. There was also a complaint of shortage of vaccine in Karnataka.
