The two Afghan nationals came to Delhi from Dubai. According to a statement issued by the Customs Department, the bags of the two Afghan nationals were found to contain suspicious and offensive material when they were passed through an X-ray baggage scanning machine.

Further investigation revealed that 19.48 kg of heroin was hidden in a bottle of shampoo and hair color. The customs department further said that the seized heroin would be sent to the laboratory for investigation.
