Private hospitals in the country, meanwhile, said it was not clear where they would buy the corona vaccine. This has led to suspension of vaccination in some private hospitals.

Corona has so far killed 250,000 people in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths at 1,09,8. The death toll in Karnataka has risen to 7.5 and in Tamil Nadu to 2.50.
