If you withdraw money from SBI more than four times a month, you will be charged


Change in service charge from July one

Withdrawals from ATMs will also be charged more than four times: Only one checkbook with 10 checks per year is free

New Delhi: Customers with SBI Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) accounts, the country's largest bank, will be charged if they withdraw more than four times in a month.

In addition, 10 check holders will get only one checkbook free in a year while more than one check book will be charged. The service charge of BSBD accounts has been changed from July 1, 2021. According to the change, Rs 15 to Rs 75 will be charged for additional value added services.

BSBD will be free for account holders in non-financial and transfer transaction branches, ATMs, CDM (Cash Depending Machine). According to SBI, a charge of Rs 15 (excluding GST) will be levied for more than four withdrawals. Withdrawals from branches and ATMs more than four times a month will be charged.

One checkbook with 10 checks per year will be free. Thereafter a charge of Rs. 40 (excluding GST) will be levied for another check book with 10 checks. However senior citizens are exempted from the limited use of 10 checks per year. This means that if a senior citizen uses more than 10 checks, he will not be charged.
