Terrorists flee after bombing crowded area: Security forces launch search operation

Srinagar: Terrorists hurled a grenade at the Tral bus stand in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Sunday evening, injuring seven people. One of the injured has been referred to Srinagar Hospital after Sruthanik Hospital as his condition is critical. Security forces have launched a search operation around the spot.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a crowded bus stand. A grenade pin was found at the scene, proving that it was a grenade attack. Investigators have given preliminary details that the terrorists may have fled in such an attack in a vehicle.

At present, check posts and main roads in all the surrounding areas have been cordoned off and a search operation has been conducted at the local level. So that the attackers can be caught.

On the other hand, a small explosion took place outside the house of Sarpanch Sushma Kumari in Androla village of Rajouri district today. Due to which an atmosphere of fear has been created in Sruthaniko. The early morning blast woke up nearby residents and damaged two motorcycles parked near the site of the blast.
