French team deployed in Ambala to oversee Rafale flights

Ambala: Security was beefed up at Ambala airbase following the deployment of Rafale aircraft. Rafal is flying from Ambala to Srinagar and Leh to Ladakh amid tensions between India and Pakistan.

A French team has been deployed at Ambala airbase station to monitor the aircraft. Rafale fighter jet Srinagar Pakistan has a distance of 220 km while Leh Ladakh has a distance of 427 km. Rafale aircraft have been deployed there for the same reason.

Construction of about 14 hangars for Rafale at Ambala Airbase has been completed. While the work of others continues. For this Rafal is also constantly flying.

There are also plans to build a domestic airport near Ambala airbase. However, the plan is likely to be shelved after the drone strike in Jammu. In addition to the Rafale, there are two squadrons of Jaguar at Ambala Airbase. For which, in terms of security, the final decision of the land of Ekbase rests with the Ministry of Defense.
