Advice not to give coronary artery disease to children with coronary artery disease

According to the guidelines issued by the government, it is not advisable to give antibiotics like Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, Favipiravir and antibiotics like Doxycycline, Azithromycin to children.

In view of the possibility of a third wave of corona coming soon and affecting children the most, the government has issued new guidelines and directed to start a covid care center for children.

The guideline states that the capacity of the existing covid care facility should be enhanced to make treatment available to children suffering from severe coronavirus infection.

The guideline states that if children are approved for the corona vaccine, priority should be given to children who suffer from other diseases and who are most at risk for corona.

As per the guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Health for the treatment of corona in children, drugs like ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, favipiravir given to adult corona patients and antibiotics like doxycycline, azithromycin should not be given to children.

The guidelines state that the government and the private sector must work together to fight the epidemic if children become infected in a possible third wave three months after the lockdown is lifted or schools are reopened.

The provision of extra beds for the treatment of children has been directed to be based on the figures of the second wave.
