Violence after results in Bengal, 4 killed so far, attack on BJP office at Nandigram

The results of the West Bengal Assembly elections have come and the Trinamool Congress has won a resounding victory. However, violence continues in various parts of the state following the election results. There was also a scuffle at Nandigram on Monday and an attempt was made to sabotage the Bharatiya Janata Party office. An attempt was also made to set the office on fire.

According to the Bharatiya Janata Party, Trinamool Congress workers are behind all this. Not only the BJP office but also many shops and houses have been set on fire after the vandalism. According to the BJP, the miscreants fled when the police reached the spot after the vandalism. Tensions have risen in the Nandigram market area following the incident.

Though the Trinamool Congress has won in Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has lost in Nandigram. Bharatiya Janata Party's Shubhendu official has defeated Mamata Banerjee in the elections.

4 killed in violence

Violence has been raging in West Bengal since the election results came out. Four people have been killed in violence in Bengal since Sunday. Among them are BJP workers in South 24 Parganas, Nadia, TMC in Vardhman and ISF workers in North 24 Parganas.
