SBI, the country's largest state-owned bank, said bank maintenance would continue from 10:15 pm on May 7 to 1:45 am on May 8. According to the bank, SBI customers will not be able to use INB / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI services during this time.
SBI had issued an alert for millions of its customers. According to the bank, this work is being done to improve the customer experience.
Private sector giant HDFC Bank has also issued an alert for its customers. The bank said its netbanking and mobile banking services would be disrupted on Friday night. "Net banking and mobile banking services will not be available from 2:00 pm to 5:00 am on May 8 for certain scheduled maintenance activities," the bank said in an email to customers.
