New Delhi, May 9, 2021

Patients are languishing in hospitals without oxygen and on the other hand, the lives of 400 patients were in danger as an oxygen tanker went missing.

A tanker carrying oxygen from Orissa to Vijayawada government hospital in Andhra Pradesh went missing on Thursday night. The lives of 400 patients were in danger as the tanker did not reach the spot on time.

Meanwhile, all the police officers were ordered to search for the tanker. It was later learned that the tanker laden with oxygen was parked near a dhaba.

After that, the police made a green channel and took the tanker to the hospital.

Even in Andhra Pradesh, hospitals are not getting the oxygen they need. The state demands 1000 tonnes of oxygen daily and only 500 metric tonnes of oxygen.
