The bomb was reported at the Mumbai-based Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Secretariat

A bomb planted in the Mumbai-based Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Secretariat was found, according to information received by the control room. A bomb disposal squad of the Mumbai Police reached the spot, police said, adding that initially the information was suspected to be false.

After receiving the bomb threat, the police said that the security of the ministry in Mumbai has also been tightened, the notice of the bomb was received by the Disaster Management Office.

It may be mentioned that the first fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Ministry on March 31, 2020. The fire was brought under control in one hour at around 8.30 pm.
