Ram Rahim lodged in Rohtak Jail admitted to PGI

Baba Ram Rahim, who is serving a life sentence in Sunaria Jail for sexually abusing and murdering a journalist, has been admitted to Rohtak PGI amid heavy security on suspicion of corona. Before bringing Ram Rahim to PGI, a police force was deployed from Sunaria Jail to PGI. Ram Rahim is currently undergoing treatment in PGI's special ward.

Prison officials have declined to comment on the matter. It is learned that Ram Rahim's corona has also been reported in PGI. He is already a patient with diabetes and BP and is also constantly taking medications. However no report has been received yet. Due to this, Ram Rahim complained of panic and the police administration decided to admit him in PGI. Ram Rahim's health was being checked till Wednesday evening and a special team of doctors has been assigned the responsibility of his treatment.

Corona's apprehension

Ram Rahim had on Tuesday complained to the jail authorities that he was feeling unwell. He was advised to take PGI after a routine test in jail. Worryingly, a terrible corona has erupted in Sunaria Jail and several inmates have reported positive. This is why the administration decided to admit Ram Rahim to the hospital.
