PNB scam: Accused Mehul Choksi missing since Sunday, Antigua police seek information from people


- The question sent to Choksi's lawyer also got no answer

Mehul Choksi, accused in the Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam and a fugitive diamond trader, has gone missing. Mehul Choksi has gone missing in Antigua and Barbuda and police have launched a search for him. According to Police Commissioner Attlee Rodney, police are searching for the whereabouts of Mehul Choksi, an Indian businessman who is rumored to be missing. After fleeing India in 2018, Choksi lived in Antigua and Barbuda, a Caribbean country.

Antigua police have registered a case of missing businessman and accused Mehul Choksi. He was last seen getting out of his residence in a car at 5:15 pm on Sunday (May 23). The Johnson Point Police Station in Antigua has filed a lawsuit. Police urged the public to report any information about Choksi.

Car found, missing

Choksi, a citizen of the Caribbean island of Antigua and Barbuda, was reportedly seen driving in the southern part of the island on Sunday. His car was later found but no trace of Choksi was found. It is learned that the question sent to his lawyer has not been answered.

Choksi and Nirav Modi are involved in an alleged Rs 13,500 crore scam from the Punjab National Bank.
