PM Modi's big announcement, Rs 10 lakh and other benefits will be given to children orphaned due to corona

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an important decision for orphans who have lost their parents in the Koro crisis. The central government has announced a number of welfare schemes for children affected by the corona virus through the PM Care Fund.

The central government has made a big announcement for children orphaned by corona in the country. Such children will be given Rs 10 lakh from the PM Care Fund. The cost of their education will also be provided from this fund. Financial assistance will be given every month till the age of 18. In addition, assistance of Rs 10 lakh will be given when the child reaches the age of 23 years.

The child will be admitted in any of the residential schools of the Central Government such as Sainik School, Navodaya Vidyalaya etc. If the parent / grandparent / extended family cares for the child, she will be admitted to the nearest Central School or private school as a Day Scholar.

A press note released by the PMO states that steps have been taken to support and empower children affected by Kovid, courtesy of PM Cares for Children, with the government standing by the government that lost their parents due to Kovid. Such children will get a monthly stipend at the age of 18 and a fund of Rs 10 lakh from PM Cares at the age of 23.

The PMO said free education of these children would also be ensured. The children will be helped to get an education loan for higher education and the interest on this loan will be paid from the PM Care Fund. In addition, under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, children up to the age of 18 will get free health insurance of Rs 5 lakh and the premium will be paid through the PM Care Fund.

PM Narendra Modi said that children represent the future of the country and we are ready to do everything for the support and protection of children. It is our duty as a society to take care of our children and give them hope for a brighter future.
