PM Kisan Yojana: PM Modi's gift to farmers, check this way Rs. 2,000 came or not


- More than Rs. 19,000 crore announced for 9.5 crore beneficiary farming families under 8th installment of the scheme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the 8th installment of the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi. Under this, more than Rs 19,000 crore has been declared for 9.5 crore beneficiary farming families. This means that the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi will now reach Rs 2,000 crore in the accounts (bank accounts) of 9.5 crore farming families.

Launched in December 2018 by the Centre's Narendra Modi government, the scheme provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per annum to small and marginal farmers in the country. The benefit of this scheme is available only to those farmers who have 2 hectares or less of agricultural land.

Here's how to check account details

1. Visit the official website of PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana at pmkisan.gov.in.

2. Click on 'Farmers Corner' on the right side of the website.

3. Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' option under 'Farmers Corner'.

4. Now a new page will open where one has to choose from Aadhaar number, bank account number or mobile number.

5. Now fill in the selected number and click on 'Get Data'. After doing so you will get the information of all your installments.

What to do if money is not available

If you are a beneficiary of this scheme and you have not received the 8th installment, you can call the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Helpline No. 155261 or 1800115526 (Toll Free) or 011-23381092. Apart from that you can also mail your complaint on the official e-mail id pmkisan-ict@gov.in.

Who doesn't benefit

As per the rules of the scheme, any retired employee or pensioner whose monthly pension is Rs. 10,000 or more cannot avail the benefit of this scheme. Registered doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects as well as their family members will not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
