In the last few days, the bodies found in the river Ganga have been circulating across the country amid the corona transition in UP.

On this issue, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has now launched a direct attack on PM Modi. Rahul Gandhi shared this tweet as well as a newspaper report. More than 2,000 bodies have been found in an area of 1,140 km on the banks of the river Ganga.

By sharing this report, Rahul Gandhi has recalled PM Modi's old statement. Before becoming PM in 2014, Narendra Modi, while filing his candidature in Varanasi during his campaign, said, "I did not come here myself and no one sent me." I have been called here by Maa Ganga. I am coming here and feeling the same feeling as a child feels in its mother's lap.

Hundreds of bodies have been found on the banks of the river Ganga or its banks in the last few days. It is suspected that the bodies belonged to people who died due to corona.

The first such case was reported in Bihar. Since then, such scenes have been seen in a number of districts in UP. The government has since banned the dumping of bodies in rivers in UP and ordered increased police patrolling along the Ganges.

Not only in the Ganges but also in the Hamirpur area, such bodies were found floating in the river Yamuna. The government then conducted his funeral.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has been asked to investigate the disposal of the bodies. The Human Rights Commission has sought a report from Bihar and UP on the matter within four weeks.
