Mamata Banerjee's younger brother died due to corona, had been undergoing treatment for a month

Asim Banerjee, younger brother of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, has died due to corona. Corona's transition in West Bengal has been haunting since the election, and Mamata Banerjee's younger brother was also infected. She breathed her last on Saturday.

Doctors at Kolkata's Super Specialty Hospital said Asim Banerjee, younger brother of Mamata Banerjee, was undergoing treatment at the hospital and breathed her last this morning. According to family sources, his funeral will be held in accordance with Korona protocol. Crowds will not be allowed to gather.

It is said that Asim Banerjee was infected with corona for the last one month. He was being treated at a hospital. His condition deteriorated this morning and doctors pronounced him dead.

Corona cases are on the rise in West Bengal and the state government has announced a drastic lockdown till May 30. Earlier, Mamata Banerjee's party TMC and BJP candidates were also infected due to Corona. One TMC candidate was also killed and he was declared the winner during the counting of votes.
